She has acted with almost all actors of Malayalam including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Jayaram, Prithviraj, Kunchacko Boban, Jayasurya etc. Though she got several Tamil films she refused them due to tight schedules. Her first Tamil film originally offered was Koodal Nagar opposite Bharath but shelved due to some technical difficulties, but completed and released recently in April 2007. Her first released Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi was a huge success. After that she was flooded with offers in Kollywood. The subsequent Tamil films she did are Kizhakku Kadalkarai Salai and Veyyil. Veyyil was a huge hit in Tamil and her character Meenakshi won the accolades of both fans and critica. Her release in February 2007 Deepavali got very good reviews both for her ravishing girl-next-door looks and her acting in several difficult emotional sequences.
